My name is Emma, I'm a transgender woman living in Dallas Texas. I'm a freelance illustrator and registered behavior technician. Last year, I experienced a severe mental health crisis which led to an attempt on my own life. Ever since I have been in a near constant state of severe anxiety and depression. It has cost me my previous job and threatens to cost me my current one as well. I have missed a lot of work due to severe, debilitating anxiety episodes and have thus lost out on a lot of money. My mental health is not going to get better until I make some drastic changes to my daily life including possibly checking myself into an intensive outpatient program in order to finally stabilize and a new esketamine treatment for severe depression.I believe I can get better with these things but with the amount of work I have missed recently, including time being hospitalized, I need a lot of help in order to pay my rent and regular expenses while I get better and avoid things like my mom having to sell her car. I can't deny how serious my health issues are anymore and it would mean absolutely everything to me to not have to worry as much about paying my bills so I can focus on finally taking care of my health.
