Help Keep Derek and Mom Housed

Hi everyone!  I’m Jennifer and I am fundraising for one of my best friend’s from high school. My friend Derek and his mom have fallen on very hard times and I am trying to help them get back on their feet. In 2015 Derek got sick with a rare skin disease and was unable to work. His dad ended up getting sick and was in and out of the hospital for a year and a half and ended up passing during Covid times. With the loss of the dad and Derek being unable to work, they lost the house and got evicted. Using their savings to stay in motels and not be on the streets was all they could do and now their savings has come to an end. 

I have been helping them stay at a hotel in the area, keeping them stocked with food and trying to get Derek and his mom back in their feet and in an apartment. They are on some lists for new places opening but it takes some time. I would love to raise some money to keep them safe in the motel and out of the cold we have been facing. Please help me help Derek and his mom Vicki.  Any amount helps and is very appreciated.
