Hi! I’m Strawberry Shortfuse, a roller derby skater and customer of Derby Kiss. Suzy Seam Ripper (Emily Rewerts), founder of Derby Kiss and her family experienced flooding in their home due to heavy rains and dam failures in Midland, Michigan. Suzy runs the popular Derby Kiss roller derby apparel brand from her home, and though she and her family were able to safely evacuate, much of her business is now underwater and unsalvageable.  I started this fundraiser to help offset the physical damages done to her inventory and the rest of the business, but any other unexpected costs they may have accrued due to the water damage in the house.
