Help keep Daisy from foreclosure

Hi my name is Candice and this is really my only option right now. I very rarely ask for help and only do so when it is absolutely crucial. My mother Daisy Maritato is close to losing our childhood home. For those who don’t know, my sister passed away in 2016 and left behind my niece Cecilia. My mother is 62 and has adopted and been raising my now 7 year old niece on her own ever since Camille (my sister) passed. Especially with the last two years with Covid and being an older parent raising a child pretty much on her own, she has been struggling to pay off the house and has been behind on the mortgage payments.

 

She has been doing everything in her power to try to get extensions on loans and lower the monthly cost but it’s looking like the grace period is closing. I am doing as much as I can to help. The amount that is being asked for is all she needs to completely pay off the mortgage and have this burden lifted once and for all. Cecilia and my mom have lost so fucking much and I don’t want them to lose the one place that has been consistent and safe for them- our home. I know it’s a lot of money and I wouldn’t be making a post like this if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.
