Help Keep Car during Financial Crisis

Hello, my name is Fiona and I wanted to try raising the funds to keep my car. It’s about to be repossessed because my fiancé and I have been struggling financially.

He lost his job and only recently got a new one that was not paying him the first 3 pay periods. That's almost over a month. Now we’re catching up with rent and can’t manage other payments, including our car.

We’ve managed in the past without a car thanks to transit, but I work mostly freelance now as a nanny, which requires me to have a car. My physical health has also been on a decline as I have rheumatoid arthritis and an implant in my leg, and I have been having frequent painful flare-ups with my arthritis.
