HELP KEEP BROTHERS TOGETHER

Hi my name is Liliana and if you know me, you are aware that I serve at my church with the youth ministry group. I’m fundraising for two of our youth group teenagers. Their names are Saul 17 and Emiliano 12 years old. I don’t take this lightly coming to all of you to advocate for this teenagers. As a result of COVID their mom passed away this week.

She had recovered from COVID that she contracted about January was sent home from the hospital with continued complications where she was unable to work, she was a single mom and the only supporter of this children.

She continued being sick and due to COVID séqueles ended up with cardiac complications and kidney problems. As she was home she had a heart attack where her older son tried to do CPR. She was then sent to emergency room and admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately she passed away June 16th, leaving her 17 year old and 12 year old sons alone and without any help. Currently they are faced with being thrown out of their house because they are 6 months behind in rent, being separated and complete changing their lives as they know it. Their mom was a hard working immigrant that like all of us came to the United States for a better life. Marisol was slowly achieving this immigrants dream of living a fruitful life, with hard work until COVID came into all of our lives. I ask if you can find it in your heart to donate whatever amount God puts in your heart. It will go to pay for expenses of her funeral and to be able to relocate this two wonderful and beautiful teenagers to a better apartment where they can stay one together and with the only person that has been in their lives that is their Godmother. They know her since babies. Social services has allowed her to have temporary custody only if she has a better place for them to be house in, she lives in a basement and not enough room acceptable to social services to house this boys. Saúl and Emiliano are faced to be taken completely out of their environment and potentially even split from each other if housing is not acceptable for them. My brothers and sisters dear friends and family, as a mom I canot even imagine what Saul and Emiliano are going through the only person on this earth that provided for them is gone. Please if you know me I don’t take this lightly to come and ask for monetary support specially at this difficult times. We as a church have been able to bless them however the amount needed is beyond what we can give at this time with so many needs out there as well. If you can support Saul and Emiliano to stay together they have been through so much. Any amount to help them find appropriate housing, and bear part of the expenses for their needs and funeral costs. Anything will help. Help us keep this boys together after all they have endured loosing the only person that they could depend here on earth. Hola, mi nombre es Liliana y si me conocen, saben que sirvo en mi iglesia con el grupo de pastoral juvenil. Estoy recaudando fondos para dos de nuestros jóvenes adolescentes. Sus nombres son Saul 17 y Emiliano 12 años. No tomo esto a la ligera cuando les digo a todos ustedes que aboguen por estos adolescentes. Como resultado de COVID, su madre falleció esta semana.

Se había recuperado de COVID que contrajo alrededor de enero y fue enviada a casa desde el hospital con continuas complicaciones donde no podía trabajar, era madre soltera y la única que apoyaba a estos niños.

Marisol enferma y debido a las séqueles de COVID terminó con complicaciones cardíacas y problemas renales. Cuando estaba en casa, tuvo un ataque cardíaco en el que su hijo mayor trató de hacer RCP. Luego fue enviada a la sala de emergencias y admitida en el hospital. Lamentablemente falleció el 16 de junio, dejando a sus hijos de 17 y 12 años solos y sin ayuda. Actualmente se enfrentan a ser expulsados ​​de su casa porque tienen 6 meses de retraso en el alquiler, estar separados y cambiar por completo sus vidas como la conocen. Su madre era una inmigrante trabajadora que, como todos nosotros, vino a los Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor. Marisol fue logrando poco a poco este sueño de los inmigrantes de vivir una vida fructífera, con trabajo duro hasta que COVID entró en todas nuestras vidas. Le pregunto si puede encontrarlo en su corazón para donar cualquier cantidad que Dios ponga en su corazón. Irá a pagar los gastos de su funeral y poder trasladar a estas dos maravillosos y hermosos adolescentes a un mejor departamento donde puedan quedarse con la única persona que ha estado en sus vidas que es su Madrina. La conocen desde bebés. Los servicios sociales le han permitido tener la custodia temporal solo si tiene un lugar mejor para que se alojen, vive en un sótano y no hay suficiente espacio aceptable para los servicios sociales para albergar a estos niños. Saúl y Emiliano se enfrentan a ser sacados por completo de su entorno y posiblemente incluso a separarse si la vivienda no es aceptable para ellos.

Mis hermanos y hermanas, y queridas amistades como mamá, ni siquiera puedo imaginar lo que están pasando Saúl y Emiliano, la única persona en esta tierra que los proveyó se ha ido. Por favor, si me conocen, no me lo tomo a la ligera para pedir ayuda monetaria, especialmente en estos momentos difíciles. Nosotros, como iglesia, hemos podido bendecirlos, sin embargo, la cantidad necesaria está más allá de lo que podemos dar en este momento con tantas necesidades también. Si puedes apoyar a Saul y Emiliano para que permanezcan juntos, han pasado por mucho. Cualquier cantidad para ayudarlos a encontrar una vivienda adecuada y cubrir parte de los gastos de sus necesidades y gastos funerarios. Cualquier cosa ayudará.
