Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because my van, Bomba, is in need of some serious repairs. Over the years, Bomba and I have fed the unhoused and made community suppers, and I want to keep that spirit of giving alive as I travel this summer. My small mobile kitchen has been a lifeline for many, and I have used it to feed the unhoused and support community events. I plan to continue using it to serve those in need wherever I go. Unfortunately, Bomba needs new rotors, a power steering pump, and new tires—repairs that are more than I can manage on my own right now.

My dream is to spend the summer hosting community cleanups—highways, rivers, city parks, abandoned lots, anywhere there’s a need. I’ll be using my mobile kitchen to serve meals before, after, or during these cleanups, depending on what’s needed. I believe that sharing food and working together can bring people closer and make a real difference in our communities.
