Hey all, Ashlynn here.

To make a long story short, I was not able to attend school this semester and so lost my financial aid meant to pay for rent. Sydney has used up all of their government financial aid and can't apply for more until they start a Master's program, which means that we have 2 months of unpaid rent. The University has begun eviction proceedings already. We have to pay January and February's rent by the 28th of February, and then they'll allow us to transfer the lease to Sydney's name and pay month to month. We have no financial cushion and no current fallback place to live. This fundraiser is a band-aid solution to get caught up so that we can keep a roof over our heads while we make a plan for our next steps.
