Alyssa worked incredibly hard to build her credit, independence, and financial security. She was proud of her accomplishments, especially when she was able to get her dream car—a symbol of her determination and hope for the future. Unfortunately, a few months ago, her circumstances changed, and she began to struggle financially. She fell behind on her car payments, rent, and other responsibilities. Alyssa had battled depression for a long time, but the added burden of financial stress made her feel trapped in a situation she couldn’t escape.
Despite her efforts to catch up on her car payments, she ultimately felt she couldn’t go on. After her passing, a kind donor helped catch up the car payment, but there is still a large balance remaining.
As her mother, I want to step up for Alyssa now that I understand the struggles she kept hidden from her family. Only after her passing did we learn of her stresses and pain. I am raising funds to pay off her car loan so her dream car isn’t taken by the bank. I want to finish what she started and keep her memory alive in this special way. Any support you can offer means the world to our family.
