My sister has poured her heart and soul into Alief Medical Sales since purchasing it during the height of COVID in May 2021. She’s always been dedicated to providing A+ customer service and making sure her customers have what they need, even as the world around her has changed. Unfortunately, the rise of online shopping has made it incredibly difficult for her to keep her doors open. She hasn’t been able to pay herself a paycheck in five years, and every dollar she earns goes right back into the business. Despite her best efforts, it’s not enough to cover rent, utility bills, and vendor invoices each month, forcing her to rely on credit cards just to keep things afloat.

What makes her story even more remarkable is that she never asks for help. She’s always tried to do it all herself, even as she faces the challenges in a rapidly evolving world. She’s working hard to grow her social media presence, but it’s a slow process. Through it all, her commitment to her customers and her community has never wavered.

Alief Medical Sales is more than just a store, it’s a lifeline for many patients in our community who need aftercare supplies, wound care, compression stockings, adult diapers, wheelchairs, and so much more. With so many similar stores closing their doors during COVID, there are very few places left for people to turn. My sister is barely hanging on, but her customers depend on her to have the supplies they need for their health and well-being.
