Help Keep Ali Off The Streets!

My dear friends,

I am awed and amazed by your enormous generosity towards this fundraising campaign! I am so profoundly touched by your thoughtfulness, and all the love is helping me stay strong during this difficult time. Even though I still haven't found an affordable home for us, knowing you all have my back makes this experience a LOT less scary. I hope to see some of you over the holidays so I can thank you in person.

We plan to keep this fundraiser open a little longer as I explore my options and improve my health. Once I figure out my next steps, I'll post updates to let you know of my progress and how I'm spending your donations.

Hi, My name is Rosanne Kelly and I'm fundraising to help our friend Ali Hammington (and her cat Maddy) avoid becoming homeless. Ali recently lost her home and job when the building she managed was suddenly sold. She has been asked to either pay market rent or vacate by December 20. She is also currently on medical leave from her second job, and is without resources. This is an emergency situation.

Ali has given generously of her time and skills to our community for many years, and has always been willing to step up for a good cause. She should not have to put their property in storage, leave Maddy with friends, and couch-surf while recovering her health! All funds raised will be used to pay rent or damage deposit, moving and storage fees, and any expenses necessary to see them safely settled in an affordable or subsidized home together.
