In the heart of our community lies a story of resilience, love, and the unwavering strength of a single mother in Hanover county. For years, this unbelievably kind, strong woman has poured her heart and soul into providing for her young child, striving to give him the stability and security he deserves. However, despite her tireless efforts, she now faces the looming threat of eviction, casting a shadow over their once-happy home.

This phenomenal woman whom I have had the privilege to get to know, pours everything she has into helping others. She has no family support as her mother passed away two years ago. She is also a survivor of domestic abuse and has been fighting to advance her career in order to support herself and her 7 year old son.

With tears in her eyes and fear in her heart, this story is not just about a roof over her head; it's about preserving the sanctuary where cherished memories are made and where dreams were nurtured. It's about shielding her child from the harsh realities of homelessness and giving them a chance to flourish in a safe and stable environment.
