Help Keep a Family's Roof Over Their Heads

Aug 11- Like many other families, mine has fallen on hard times. Due to a conflict of interest, in March I took an hour reduction at work. I have been ubering to help make up the difference and my husband is working full time but we fell behind and have been struggling to stay afloat. In July, our rent went up $250 which has compounded the struggle, leaving me unable to pay my kids health insurance. One of my daughters has medication that she takes daily that she needs that is $59 monthly (after GoodRX discount). To make matters worse, I was sick with the flu last weekend. Our immediate needs are $600, to pay the balance of our rent due, electricity, and my daughter’s medication. Thank you for your hand up and support.

Aug 20- I am so very grateful for the outpouring of support! By your grace, we were headed for stability. We were recently approved for SNAP and Medicaid for the kids to help with medication. Unfortunately, on Monday, Aug 19, I was in a car accident. I am asking for additional support until next week to help us with transportation now that we no longer have a vehicle. Whether it is financial, bus passes, Uber or Lyft gift cards, or assistance getting picking up or dropping off kids to school. This week is critical on our journey to stability❤️
