For over half a decade I’ve been proud to work in the film industry as a camera loader. However, like so many others, my family and I were deeply affected by the pandemic, and we barely scraped by. Just as things seemed to be improving, the 2022 strike hit, halting work for months. It was a tough blow after an already difficult few years.

While the industry is slowly recovering, we’ve fallen behind on rent, and now we’re facing the possibility of eviction as early as the 2nd of the month. We are doing everything we can to get back on our feet, but we’re in need of immediate help to cover our rent and stay in our home.
