Hello, my name is Jason and I'm starting this go fund me for my family that has till March 1st to get caught up on rent. I've reached out to churches and other non profit organizations also and I haven't heard anything back and time is running out.
My family consists of myself, my spouse Sharon, our daughter Layla (5), and our sons Tristan (8), Jason Jr (7), Dominic (3)
The back story:
My spouse was working in the medical field helping others, as it was her passion, even went back to college for more degrees. All that was cut short on Aug 21st 2021 when she was diagnosed with 2 types of neuropathy, p.o.t.s. syndrome on her heart, and she had suffered multiple strokes (latest one was December 6th 2023, a day after my birthday) that's the one that took her mobility on her left side, and multiple other illnesses. She's been fighting for disability since 2021 and the landlord has been very lenient with us thus far (until January 13th 2024) and gave us till the 1st of March. We have no where to move the family to. This is getting scarier as each passing day goes by.
I'm also her care giver since she needs me around 24/7 to help with her doing everyday simple tasks (that we all take for granted) and to help with our kids.
I'm the only source of income, so I'm juggling what rent I can give, cell phone bill, electric and gas (liheap helped me with), water, car note, insurance, gas, prescriptions, kids needs and so on.
This isn't easy for me to do, I don't like to ask for anything but it feels as if I'm hitting rock bottom and failing my family.
ANYTHING helps even sharing this.
