Help Keenan and Amy rebuild their home

Hi! My name is Lee and I am fundraising for my good friends Keenan Roxburgh and Amy Huang. They have spent all their savings building a beautiful home over the years only to have tragically lost everything in the recent floods in NSW.

To add to this Keenan and Amy are expecting their first child any day now.

In Keenan's words "We were evacuated by boat as a horrific one in 500 year disaster, destroyed our home and washed away all our hard work with it! We had spent the last year doing a major renovation to our off grid cabin!

We had gutted the place, ripped our roof off, extended walls, new kitchen, fire place and power system and were in the process of building our soon to be born daughter’s room and we were done!

I’d spent the last 8 years building major gardens and regeneration work making a self sufficient place to call home!

Our house still currently sits underwater and with everything we owned.

We realise that many are also suffering at this time and we feel their loss.

As we rebuild from this, it is hard to come to terms with accepting all the help we are being offered and will need over coming months. But we also realise that we can’t possibly provide a home for us and our daughter at this stage. From not needing any assistance, to owing massive amount of appreciation to all that are supporting us!

So much work, finance and time must now go into picking up the pieces and starting again. We had set ourselves up to share a wonderful world with our daughter due early April, and although we won’t quite be where we were, we stay positive to a fresh start to building a home for our family❤️✌️"

If you have met this awesome couple before you will know they live a quiet life, off grid and grow all their food and vegetabkes and never put there hand out for anything. They are the most giving and genourous people I know ..... (Keenan just spent the month of February raising money for Cancer as part of the Surffebruary campaign) .
