Help Keegan Hornstra in his fight against Cancer

Many of you know Keegan Hornstra, some through family or friendships, but most through his presence in the mixed martial arts community of England. Keegan started his journey in Muay Thai around 20 years ago when he was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army. This was a cataclysmic event that lead him to train, fight and coach all over New England.

Keegan has built his life around fighting/training Muay Thai. Him and his wife Adina, their son Klaus and his eldest daughter Kylie, all spend most of their free time at their gym in Hampton, “The Forge Muay Thai”. Keegan has spent countless hours helping his students progress in their martial arts journey and has help launch some into their MMA/Muay Thai careers. He travels to other gyms, drives all around New England and across the country to corner various fighters and is always around for extra rounds in the ring or the cage.

In January of 2024, at the age of 38, Keegan Hornstra was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He ended up getting surgery in march that same year to get the affected testicle removed. It was unclear whether the cancer had metastasized further into his body.

Unfortunately, upon recent findings, Keegan’s battle with cancer is not over. They discovered that the cancer moved into his lungs.

The medical bills are hefty, and chemo is no joke. But with a 98% success rate, and Keegan being as stubborn as he is, there is hope.
