Hi everyone! It’s Keegan here!
I want to tell you a little bit about a dream I’ve been chasing — and I hope you’ll help me reach it.
I’ve been dancing since I was two years old — yep, since I was a tiny little thing in ballet slippers barely bigger than my feet! Ever since then, dance has been a huge part of my life. But it’s not just dance — I’ve been dreaming of Broadway since I was five years old, when I sat front row at The Lion King. I remember watching the dancers, the singers, the costumes, the magic on stage — and I knew, that’s where I want to be one day.
To get there, I’ve been working really hard. I take dance classes almost every day, and I even take singing lessons and drama classes to help make that Broadway dream come true. My teachers say I’m one of the hardest workers in the studio, and at school, I’m an excellent student — I love learning, whether it’s in the classroom or on the dance floor.
But it’s not just about me — I’m also a big sister. I help my mommy at home, and at dance school, I help teach my little sisters’ classes as an apprentice. I love helping younger dancers and cheering them on, because I know how much it means to have someone believe in you.
Now, I have an incredible opportunity — I qualified to go to NYCDA Nationals in New York City from June 28 to July 5! This is one of the biggest dance competitions in the country, and it’s a huge step toward my dream. But I need a little help to get there.
I’m trying to raise $1,500 by May 16 — and that’s where you come in! You can help by donating to my GoFundMe. Every dollar helps — and I truly mean every single dollar. Whether it’s five dollars or fifty, it all gets me one step closer to the stage in New York.
And trust me — I will be dancing with all my heart, knowing that I’ve got so many amazing people behind me.
Thank you so much for listening, for supporting me, and for helping make this dream come true. I can’t wait to make you all proud — and one day, I hope to see you in the audience when I’m on that big Broadway stage!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
