Support the DeWitt Family after the Eaton Fire
Donation protected
My brother Keegan, his wife Margaret and their two daughters Pippa and Larkin had their home severely damaged in the fires that swept across Altadena during the Eaton Fire. They have lived in this community and built their life and family there over the last several years. Watching their entire neighborhood catch fire has been horrific. My niece's school has been destroyed, most of the homes and businesses in their community have burned, and they will not be able to return home for many month.
Like many of their friends and community, they have been displaced by the Eaton Fire. They have evacuated north to be closer to family, to assess whatever steps can possibly be taken next, and to try and establish whatever small sliver of normalcy is possible for their girls during this traumatic time.
While we are incredibly grateful they are safe and by some miracle their home is still standing, we are witnessing firsthand how difficult and expensive the practicalities of "next steps" are during this unexpected and traumatic time.
Please consider contributing in whatever way you feel called. Every donation, no matter the size, will help this family navigate during this difficult time. Thank you for your generosity and support.
