Help Me Get Life-Saving Treatment Abroad

My name is Kedi, and I am a single mother from Albania.

A few years ago, I began seeking treatment abroad for a serious vascular disease that was causing constant pain and severely affecting my quality of life. Because these treatments were not available in my country, I had no choice but to pay privately for specialist consultations, advanced imaging, and complex procedures overseas, hoping they would give me my life back.

Instead, my journey became much more complicated.

Following one of these procedures, I developed gastroparesis, a rare condition in which the stomach becomes partially paralyzed and can no longer empty food normally. In simple words, my stomach no longer works the way it should.

For the past three weeks, I have survived almost entirely on medical nutritional formula because I can no longer tolerate normal food. Even a few bites can cause severe nausea, intense pressure and pain in my stomach, extreme fullness, and overwhelming exhaustion. It often feels as if the food simply stays in my stomach instead of moving forward. Something as natural as eating has become one of the biggest challenges of my life, and with each passing week I become weaker.

The treatment I now need is not available in Albania.

After being evaluated by specialists abroad, I have been advised to undergo an advanced endoscopic stomach procedure that may improve my stomach's ability to empty and allow me to eat normally again. This is now the most urgent step in my treatment, as my nutritional status continues to decline.

Treating my gastroparesis is also essential because it will allow me to continue the second part of my medical journey: treating the serious vascular complications that still remain.

Until today, every consultation, medical test, procedure, treatment, and trip abroad has been paid privately. I have done everything I could to finance my medical care on my own, but after years of treatment, I have reached a point where I simply cannot continue alone.

Today, I am asking for help—not because I have stopped fighting, but because I want the opportunity to keep fighting.
