My name is Kedean Nelson. I’m a Jamaican native from Ocho Rios, currently located in the US. I’m trying to help my family back in Jamaica as they try to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Melissa’s devastating damage. They’re without proper shelter and food, the roads are cut off by rivers, and the bridges are destroyed. We have to buy supplies to rebuild the homes in our parish which my family members reside in. My 79-year-old father now lives in a home that no longer has a roof and is missing 2 exterior walls and a door. I don’t know what they’re currently doing for food with access into town being cut off. Your help is desperately needed and greatly appreciated.
