Help Kechi Replace her Stolen Car and Equipment!

This week, Nkechi Chibueze’s car was boosted from its spot outside my MidCity apartment in broad daylight. The 2004 Toyota Corolla was a scrappy little thing that she relied on to get her to work as a kindergarten teacher, comedy shows, and photography engagements. The car was also full of expensive photography equipment including lights, reflectors, diffusers, and stands.

Kechi is proud and has a hard time going to her community for help, so as someone who loves her, I’ve gotten her permission to step in and reach out to all of you. Kechi is multi-talented, but she’s absolutely a gifted photographer. Even before we got together, I was amazed by her ability to showcase not just the looks, but the personalities and inner beauty of her subjects—including me.

On Kechi’s behalf, I’m asking for $4000 to replace her lost equipment, and put money down on a new car. Kechi routinely offers discounts to friends and colleagues, so let’s show up for her! These are tough times, but if you can, please give or pass this along on social media!
