My dear friends need your help. Kecee Reisenbigler is suffering from a terminal illness called Hepatopulmonary Syndrome, whereby his liver is compromised and not functioning well. This rare syndrome has created a large shunt across his lungs. This is diminishing his ability to breathe. Currently, he is receiving eight to twelve liters of supplemental oxygen, which is still not enough to allow him to walk and perform daily tasks. This condition will continue to worsen with time. The only treatment for this condition is a liver transplant. We are currently working with Mayo Clinic and Michael J. Krowka, M.D., a world-renowned physician in this field. They are hoping KC will be put on the transplant list this December.
This comes with some major expenses. Of course, Kecee can no longer work, and he does not qualify for SSI as Tim is still working. His role as KC's caregiver has drastically reduced the number of hours he can work.
They are facing an overwhelming challenge, and any support you can offer means so much to them. Even a small donation, five, ten, or any amount—will help lighten our burden. Please help them get through this difficult time.
