Help Kebba’s Family in The Gambia

My name is Elijah Ndosi. I am currently living in the USA and organized this fundraiser to support Kebba Colley and his family living in The Gambia. This is his story.
“I am currently living with my 3 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers but sadly lost both of our beloved parents. As I am the elder of my family, I look after my siblings by through going to the bush and fetch wood to sell at the local market for my family’s daily survival. But life seems very hard and rough even though we sometimes get food to eat.
My father was a fisherman to feed his family, but sadly he became a lost his soul when he was fishing and the boat fell in the river during rainy season. One year after the death of my father, my mum was suffering from high blood pressure and in few months time she died because she have no one to concern or care for her medication and cure.
Since then, life became so hard and pitiful with me and my siblings. We struggle so hard to survive in our currently pitiful situation. As I am all alone, struggling so hard for the survival and living of my family, I couldn't be able to get my siblings back to school due to our condition. Life is really unfair in other ways, but I and my family are with strong faith and struggling so hard for better days. We always hope and pray to God that one day he might give us a better life and take away all our pain. Sometimes I just wonder why God took away our beloved parents so early and make us suffer in this kind of situation. I and my family are seeking help from all mankind with an caring heart to consider me and my family tough conditions.”
