Dad, Daddy, Father Holden, Papa K, Keali’i,Uncle K, Mr. Holden, whatever you call him, this is our time to help.
On Wednesday December 8th our father was traveling home from Seattle, to Kaua’i. As he was walking into the airport, he had a massive heart attack & had to undergo a quadruple bypass surgery . The bystanders and airport staff acted quickly, and we have our dad here today!
Since, we have been in two hospitals. Currently he is in Virginia Mason in Seattle, where they are taking excellent care of him! But as you know, with the stays, come the bills & expenses.
We will be staying in Washington through the beginning of the year before he is cleared to fly home by his doctors. We know that this will be a long road and we want to ease the stress for him as much as possible.
We want to thank all our friends and family who have called, texted, asked what we needed! We appreciate it all so much! We know dad has had a huge impact on a lot of Kaua’i during all his teaching years! Not to mention his army friends, Michigan State friends, Goddard friends, his teaching family, and beyond!
A lot of people have asked how they can help. Sorry it has taken us so long to get this put together. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
