My name is Kdin Jenzen, I'm a trans woman voice actress/producer/social media manager living in California and for the last several years I’ve been fighting to stay afloat in industries that have been hit by constant instability and mass layoffs. I’ve been working in animation and gaming for over 20 years of experience and despite my experience finding stable employment has become increasingly difficult. Studio closures, contract cancellations, and repeated layoffs have left me struggling to maintain consistent work and financial security.

On top of the instability of jobs in my fields of expertise I’ve also faced significant barriers and discrimination as a trans woman throughout my career with many opportunities that should have come from decades of experience have too often been overshadowed by bias, isolation, and employers unwilling to support or retain trans workers.

Even when I’ve managed to find work, it has rarely lasted long enough to rebuild stability before another round of layoffs hit or project funding fell through.

Unfortunately now I’m facing an urgent financial crisis...

I have $14,636.97 in remaining medical debt from treatments and care from 2018-2022. Until now, I had been making minimum monthly payments and doing everything I could to stay current... however, the lender informed me that minimum payments are no longer acceptable and that the remaining balance must be paid in full by June 6, 2026.

I struggle in asking for help, and have never made a GoFundMe like this before.. but I’ve run out of options.

I’m am constantly and actively searching for stable work while trying to avoid losing what little financial footing I still have so any donation, no matter the size, would help me pay down this debt and give me the chance to focus on rebuilding my life and career instead of surviving one crisis after another.
