Even though he is home and survived, this has been extremely difficult and traumatic for our son and our entire family. He is the bright light and joy of our family. He loves riding his bike, playing outside, and making friends. His kind heart and smile light up every room, and his laughter, curiosity, and endless energy bring happiness to everyone around him. He inspires us with his courage and strength. WHAT HAPPENED - On July 7, 2026, while riding his bike outside in front of his own home, my son was shot in his arm by a stray bullet. Some teenagers were playing with guns at the park nearby, and we initially thought it was fireworks, but it turned out to be gunfire. The bullet struck my son, and our family's lives changed in an instant. We are asking for help with medical expenses, ongoing care, and the emotional support our son needs to heal and recover.
