At just 25 years old, Kaysi has already lived a life full of resilience, sacrifice, and strength.

If you know Kaysi, you know she is one of the strongest, most selfless people you could ever meet. She has spent her life working hard, showing up for others, and doing whatever it takes to keep her future bright. She’s the type of person who will put everyone else’s needs before her own, and tackle obstacles with a sharp mind and a steady hand. Even in the hardest times, she’s always found a way to smile and keep pushing forward.

Now, Kaysi is facing her greatest challenge yet. Seven months pregnant with her first child, a baby boy. Kaysi has just received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with stage 3, grade 3 breast cancer. She needs to begin treatment immediately, all while preparing to welcome her son into the world.

Kaysi will become immunocompromised and must limit her interactions in high volume areas, especially with winter on the horizon.  With these unexpected circumstances, the parents-to-be will also have to adapt to the major changes that come with her being out of work for the foreseeable future. Going from a dual income to a single income home overnight, will leave them in a huge financial deficit.

Despite the challenges life has thrown her way, Kaysi has never stopped fighting. But now she needs us; her community, her friends, her family, and the kindness of strangers - to stand with her, Floyd and baby Maverick in this fight.
