Help Keisha (Kay) Bunting Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer - Medical and Financial Assistance Needed

My name is Kayla Bunting and I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my mother, Keisha (Kay) Bunting, who is bravely battling Stage 4 Breast Cancer. The cancer has spread (metastasized) to other parts of her body and the medical bills, treatments, and everyday expenses are mounting. We need your support to help her get the care and relief she deserves.

In September 2021, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. After undergoing recent tests and the last treatment under the most recent treatment plan in November 2024, it was discovered that the cancer had spread beyond her breasts (both) to her lymph nodes, bones, and liver. The prognosis is challenging, but she is determined to fight this disease and continue with treatments to extend her life and maintain her quality of living for as long as possible.

As you can imagine, fighting cancer is physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausting. In addition to her health, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Keisha (Kay) Bunting has been unable to work due to treatments (she’s currently on her second round of chemotherapy this year), appointments, and recovery, leaving us with mounting medical bills and everyday expenses. Though we have insurance, the cost of ongoing treatment, medications, travel for specialist care, and others is more than we ever anticipated.

In addition to medical costs, there are other financial challenges that come with this disease, such as traveling for specialized treatments and hospital visits and loss of income due to the inability to work. The reality is these things are difficult to deal with, but we’re doing everything we can to make sure Keisha (Kay) Bunting continues to get the care she needs.

We’re asking for your generosity in helping us cover the costs of ongoing treatments, medications, and other financial burdens related to this illness. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact and ease the burden on Keisha (Kay) Bunting and our family during this difficult time.
