Hello and thank you for reading this. Kayo is a wonderful mother and licensed massage therapistwho works at Massage Heights. She has always been a caring and positive person, and she was so giving. There was not one day where Kayo could not be heard giggling, sharing smiles with coworkers or bringing in tastey Japanese snacks for everyone to enjoy. 

Kayo is truly a resilient and special woman. She has passed through many trials and tribulations in her life and continued forward strongly. Kayo is the best definition of a strong woman, but tragically with no warning her health has been seriously threatened. 

Kayo started feeling heart palpitations, vertigo and signs and confusion suddenly one evening. She rushed to the hospital where she was taken to urgent care. A scan revealed that she had a 6-inch tumor in her brain, which if not removed would take her life. 

Surgeons acted quickly and were able to removethe tumor and Save Kayo’s Life !

Kayo’s journey through this healing process is not over however. She has to relearn how to live. She must learn to walk again, to talk again, to navigate through life with a serious injury. Her rehabilitation will be difficult, and she will face many hardships. We want to do everything we can toshow her our love and support, and to uplift her through this hard time.
