A few weeks ago on new year's eve, Kaylynn was driving home from a hike when she got into an accident that completely totaled her car. We are so grateful that there were no major injuries (though Kaylynn is still recovering from a concussion), but it has left Kaylynn with minimal access to transportation. She commutes ~45 minutes to her job and is driving distance from grocery stores, doctor's offices, etc.
Despite facing the most heartbreaking and difficult of challenges the past two years (including the death of her sister and grandmother, having to finish her last semester of grad school virtually and missing the milestone of walking across the stage to receive her Master's degree, entering the job market during extreme uncertainty, all amidst the many difficulties and chaos brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the political upheaval of the past year) Kaylynn has still miraculously managed to be one of the most selfless, generous, loving people I know. Life has given her every reason to be cynical and bitter but instead she is just the opposite, spreading light in every space she enters and sharing love with every person who is lucky enough to know her. Right now, she could really use our help to get back on her feet after a crazy year of job hunting, moving to a new city by herself, starting a new job, and, now, trying to find a new car while living paycheck to paycheck.
She would never be the one to ask for money but everyone who knows her knows that she would be the first one to donate if the roles were reversed. Thank you for taking the time to read this, please consider helping her out in any way that you can!
