Hi,

My name is Natalie and I'm raising funds for my friend Kayley. She was injured on August 9 while on a family bike ride. She suffered a severe and traumatic brain injury.

For the last few weeks, she has been recovering slowly in the hospital and the doctors expect her to make a near-full recovery.

The bad news is that they have prescribed a 6-week stay at a recovery facility in Bakersfield and the insurance claim was denied. We all know how expensive hospital stays can be, let alone 6 weeks. Kayley's husband is working hard to fight the insurance company for coverage, and if the claim is accepted all of the funds raised from this effort will be refunded.

I know that Kayley has many friends and family who would like to contribute financially to help Kayley get the medical help she needs that is why I'm opening this page. All donations will go straight to the House family.

Kayley is a MUCH LOVED wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. She cares deeply about people and is passionate about her family.
