Since I was a child I’ve always been in pain in my tummy and general pelvic area, constant hospitalizations, extremely irregular periods that would last for months without any sign of stopping, missing out on school, college and any chance of a maintaining a steady job.

I knew something was wrong but had no idea of what it was, through my own research I found out that I could have endometriosis. On July 24th of 2025 I was diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopy and had endo removed via ablation.

I was both happy and heartbroken, happy to finally have an answer and heartbroken to know that I will live with this condition forever.

I was hoping the surgery would ease my pain, but it did the opposite. I was in agony for months and months after, unable to move from the couch or bed. It was worse than before.

I have toasted skin syndrome from burning my belly with hot water bottles, I’m on constant pain killers that just about work and make me unable to concentrate or get any work done no matter how big or how small.

I have tried everything, rest, change of diet, different pain killers, supplements, physical therapy

But nothing has changed my quality of life.

I have dreams, ambitions, plans and everything feels like it’s been cut off short or I wasn’t given a chance due to this illness, it’s dilapidating, exhausting and hopeless.

My illness continues to get worse and worse, the pain is back and affecting me worse everyday. I try to have fun with my friends for one day I’m in bed for the next week in agony after.

I want my life back, I want my career, i want back my creativity. I want to be a normal young woman in her 20’s.

Due to the fact I cannot work, and I can’t seem to quality for any disabilities no matter how much I try, I am in an incredibly difficult situation financially.

I plead to anyone reading this to please try to understand this situation I am In, I want my life back. I want to live again and not just survive.
