Our beautiful friend, sister, Wife and daughter Kayleigh, at only 36 years old, is facing the unthinkable …. again.

In 2018, at just 28 years old, Kayleigh beat breast cancer. She endured the fear, the treatment, the long recovery, and she fought with every part of herself. And she won. She rebuilt her life with hope and determination, never imagining she would need to face that battle again.

But this time, the fight is different.

Kayleigh has now been diagnosed with metastatic cancer, which has spread to her spine and liver. This type of cancer is incurable at present. It does not offer the same hope of remission or recovery.

The brutal truth is that the average life expectancy is 3-5 years.

She is 36.

She should have 50 more years ahead of her, watching her loved ones grow, celebrating milestones, travelling, laughing, living freely.

Yet cancer is threatening to steal that from her far too soon.

Despite this, Kayleigh continues to do what she’s always done: fight, stay strong, and protect everyone around her. She never complains. She never asks for help. She still smiles and tries to make everyone else feel at ease, even while carrying something so heavy it shouldn’t belong to anyone, let alone someone her age.

With her diagnosis, the focus is now on quality of life, making her days meaningful, joyful, and full of love.
