Hi everyone,

My name is Kaylee, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my mom, the most selfless, strong, and loving woman I know. Right now, she’s facing one of the hardest moments of her life.

Two weeks ago, my grandma (my mom’s mother) was admitted to the ICU after being diagnosed with heart failure. She’s now on life support, and our family has been living in constant fear and heartbreak as we pray for her recovery.

My mom has always been the kind of person who never asks for help. She’s a single mom who raised three kids completely on her own. She’s worked tirelessly to keep us safe, loved, and supported, often putting everyone else’s needs before her own. And even through her own struggles, she’s always been the first to show up for anyone who needs help, no matter the time or circumstance.

Now, she’s facing enormous medical bills from my grandma’s ICU stay, life support, and multiple heart surgeries. My grandma has lived with us for years. She’s not just our grandmother, but a father figure and second parent to me and my siblings. Watching both of them go through this has been devastating.

We just want to take as much stress off my mom as we can, so she can focus on being there for her mom and not have to worry about how she’ll manage the costs. Every donation, no matter how small, helps lift a piece of that weight off her shoulders.

 (UPDATE) With a heavy heart I write this update, my grandma Connie has passed away last night, the new goal for the money being raised will be to help cover the funeral expenses along with medical expenses and any other unexpected expenses that we have to face during this difficult time.
