Kaylee Benfield, my sister’s dear friend, has tragically lost her home in a devastating fire. In a matter of moments, her family lost their house, their belongings, their animals, and the memories built within those walls.
Her father, who personally spent years building that home, suffered first-degree burns over 15% of his body while trying to save what he could. He is already limited in his ability to work due to a previous incident, making this loss even more overwhelming for their family.
Kaylee is a kind, thoughtful, and hardworking 10th grader who does not deserve to face something this heartbreaking. We are asking for any support you can give to help her and her family begin rebuilding their lives.
This would help them with temporary housing, hospital bills, and general necessities like clothes and appliances. No donation is too small — even one dollar makes a difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you so much for your time, generosity, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
