Help Kaylee Save her Best Friend
Donation protected
Hello my name is Emily Kyser and if you know Kaylee Golden then you know Izzy Mae.
The night of 11/07 Izzy was found on the side of the road after being struck by a vehicle. They left her there in critical condition. She has suffered internal bleeding in 1/4 areas of her abdomen, a shattered left femur which will require major surgery with a 50/50 rate of success, and/or amputation. She is unable to breathe on her own as of now & has been placed on oxygen full time in hopes she will become stable.
Today 11/08 she was transferred from emergency care to primary and will need to be transported back and forth for as long as it’s needed. The emergency vet did not have the blood to give. She is receiving transfusions as her blood count has diminished and needs to be replenished. Our primary goal is to get her stable enough to undergo surgery and she can endure being put under anesthesia with little to no concerns to recover her leg. We are still in the woods and she will need to be monitored over the next couple of days. As of today we are seeing improvements and are rooting for her recovery with every ounce of our beings.
As of today we have already hit close to 10 thousand in vet bills, which it’s only day two of care and she is requiring two more as of now. For anyone this is a huge set back and tragedy that no one deserves to endure. Any donation is appreciated.
*If you have a healthy and stable fur baby please consider bringing them into Animal Emergency Center of The Quad Cities for a blood donation as we were there yesterday and they were completely out of stock. They will grant your babies annual blood tests, scans, and treatment. Along with discounted rates if you ever encounter an emergency visit.*
