Help support Kaylee and Kara rebuild their life after devastating fire loss.

Anyone who knows Kaylee and Kara can see that these long-time best friends are caring and hardworking. Kara has spent years helping nurture and teach students as a preschool teacher and Kaylee graduated with her AA degree last year, persisting even through the incredibly tragic loss of her mom, Kathy, just one year ago. They made it their mission to fulfill their childhood dream of becoming roommates and worked hard to keep Kaylee’s childhood home - which housed all of their furniture, belongings, and keepsakes.

This tragic fire engulfed and completely destroyed their home, all of their belongings, and Kaylee’s car. Though they are thankfully both safe, they had no time to evacuate any items from the home and are having to start over with nothing.

Any help is greatly appreciated as Kaylee and Kara both try to rebuild their lives at just 21 years old and find their footing to recover from this devastation.
