I have fallen behind on my mortgage. I work multiple jobs trying to stay on my feet, but unfortunately, I don’t make enough to catch back up. This house is the only home my kids know, and it’s always been an open door for many people to feel safe in. I could tell you my whole story, but honestly, I don’t even know how to ask for help. I should have put my pride aside and told people I was in a rut sooner, but I kept thinking I could handle it on my own.

Now, I know it’s a long shot, but I don’t want to lose my home. I have worked hard every day, and last Friday I received the foreclosure papers. It made me feel like giving up.
