Kayla Saensombat is just one of a big family under one household. She, along with her brothers, sons, nieces, nephews, and their beloved pets are faced with a devastating challenge. The March 2026 Kona Low Storm brought severe weather to their area, and during the storm, a tree fell onto their roof, causing catastrophic ceiling damage and flooding as well as mold throughout their home. The flooding also destroyed their dryer and fridge, leaving them unusable. Kayla works as a server, but due to the damage and the need to care for her family, she is unable to go to work for the time being.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward immediate and urgent needs & expenses. With Kayla unable to earn an income, these funds will also help cover essential living expenses for her, her family, and pets. Every dollar will make a meaningful difference in helping them recover and rebuild after this unexpected disaster.
