Last night, our lives changed in an instant when our house caught on fire. We are so grateful that everyone made it out safely, but much of what we own was damaged by smoke and the water used to put out the fire. The past day has been overwhelming as we try to process the loss and figure out how to start over.



We need to replace or restore our furniture, mattresses, clothes, shoes, TVs, and so many other essentials that were affected. One of the hardest parts is that my boyfriend lost all of his tools, which he uses every day for his business. His work is our family’s main source of income, and without those tools, it’s even harder for us to get back on our feet.
