UPDATE:
We started this gofundme a few weeks ago on behalf of our favorite human, daughter, sister, wife, and friend for life, Kaylah. We had hoped to raise money to help Kaylah fight this horrible disease. Sadly, on June 13th, 2023 our sweet Kaylah lost her battle with cancer. She is no longer suffering and in pain and is now able to hug her mom once again. All collections raised will now go towards funeral service arrangements for Kaylah. We love you all and thank you for your support, love and dedication to Kaylah and our family during this time. She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Forever 28.

If you knew Kaylah, you know she had the biggest heart, kindest soul, and most contagious smile! Along with being the greatest human on the planet, she had been fighting cancer since she was first diagnosed at 22 years old. She had been in remission ever since, however, the last few months things had taken a drastic turn. After dealing with pain, nausea, and dizziness it was found at the beginning of April the cancer had come back and spread to her brain. The cancer had come back more aggressive and did not respond to any treatments. Sadly, after a fierce 10-week battle, on June 13th, 2023, we lost our beloved Kaylah to cancer. She passed peacefully at Unity Hospital surrounded by all of her family and loved ones. We miss her beyond words and selfishly we wish she was still here in body with us. Forever 28.
Now to brag a little bit about Kaylah! Though the past few years have been filled with heartbreak that not one person should have to endure, she has remained the most positive ray of sunshine you could know. Her mom passed away when she was just a teenager and then diagnosed with cancer just a few years later. During this time she met the love of her life Travis. She then fought her cancer while also living her life. She went to nursing school to fulfill her passion for caring for others and just graduated in the spring of 2022! We are so proud of her for fighting, learning, caring, working, and loving! 2022 was such a happy year because Kaylah and Travis got married in September. She truly has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. Kaylah we love you!
