I am a first-generation master's student from a working-class family, and I have always relied heavily on student loans to pursue my education. Now, as I work toward my master's in Museum Studies, I have been offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by my university to study abroad in Italy. For two weeks, I will be learning in Florence and Rome, gaining access to the archives and back rooms of some of the most famous museums in the world. This experience will allow me to see the inner workings of these institutions and deepen my passion for museum studies.

The main need for funds is tuition, specifically the final payment for this program. I am currently struggling to pay out of pocket while working a part-time job, and I also need to cover the cost of my plane ticket and expenses at the dormitory where I will be staying. Receiving support through this fundraiser would allow me to focus on my studies, reduce the stress and worry of finding the money, and fully embrace this unique opportunity to learn and grow in a field I am passionate about. It would also give me the chance to travel abroad for the first time and experience another culture outside of my own.
