My daughter Kayla Kilpatrick lost her business in the Steifelmeyer fire this week. Kayla started KKLashes on her own from scratch at the age of 19, and she has worked long hours to build her business from the ground up. Recently, she went back to school to obtain her aesthetician certification so she could expand her business offerings. For the past year, Kayla has worked full time and attended school three nights a week, just recently graduating. She is one of the hardest working people I know, and she has poured her heart and soul into establishing her business. Now, everything she worked for is gone. The fire destroyed all of Kayla’s inventory, supplies, and equipment, leaving her with nothing to continue her work. She will need to buy all new supplies, tools, and equipment to start her business back up, and she will be without income until she can get set up at a new location. We are so grateful that Kayla was not hurt in the fire. The items she lost can be replaced, and any amount would be a blessing to help her rebuild. The community support for Kayla and all the others who lost businesses has been amazing. Please keep my daughter and everyone else affected in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for any support you can give to help Kayla get back on her feet.
