Help Kayla Perez: Stability for a New Mom

Hello. My name is Kayla Perez and I’m 32 years old. In 3 weeks or less, I’m welcoming my first child. At this moment, I’m having an extremely hard time making ends meet to afford my rent, car payment, insurance, and phone bill. I’m on the verge of losing my apartment if I can’t get the money in time.

I lost my job at 22 weeks pregnant and tried applying at over 40 places, and they all responded the same, “come back after you have the baby.” So, I’ve been dedicating myself to DoorDash full time, 7 days a week, 10-hour days. But in reality, if the tips aren’t there, then most of the money I’m making ends up in the gas tank to be able to go out again.

I know that asking for help this way is unconventional, but I’m all alone in this. And the family I do have can’t afford to help me either. If anyone can please help so I don’t lose my apartment or my car, I’d be greatly appreciative. Thank you
