Help Kayla Move to a Safer Home

Hi friends and family! This is my first time doing something like this, so please bear with me. I just want you to know that I appreciate your time and patience to read what I have to say more than you know! I'm asking for some help. Most of my close family members are aware of the major changes in my life recently and have been more than generous helping me out since I was let go from my steady long-time job and was done wrongly in a tuition reimbursement I was promised but never received.

I will always be thankful for these family and friends that have helped me along the way the last two months. However, I'm calling upon any extended family, friends, or acquaintances that have the resources to send some aid in any amount possible.

I'm currently trying to better my life and current living position for my family by moving into a much cheaper, safer, and more convenient commuting distanced apartment. They are asking 2 times the rent which, I can afford most of it working 2 jobs currently, but not all of it.

Moving into this new place would save me over $700 a month (8,000 a year!), it would move me into a criminally safer zip code, which my current zip code has the most registered sex offenders per capita in Reno about 1 to every 200 as of 2020, we hear and see police engagements daily, and overall don't go outside due to the unsafe environment as instances we have witnessed are something we continually try to avoid.

Moving into these new apartments would improve my stability and safety for me, my girlfriend, and our 16 month old son, in more ways than I can express. I'm currently paying double what I could be paying instead and having to settle for this unsafe area, horrible complex/management, and terrible living conditions, please consider contributing to help me make the jump to better mine and my family's life. Even $10 towards my security deposit would be more than I have now.
