Hi! My name is Kayla and I am SO EXCITED to be representing the city of Brooksville at the Miss Florida USA pageant from May 23-25 in Orlando, FL.

When I first began my pageant journey in 2017, I never imagined how much my life would be transformed. Now I have the opportunity to make history by becoming the first Miss Florida USA (and hopefully Miss USA) over the age of 30!

I can’t do this alone though! Sponsorships are an integral part of pageants, as they help to cover the costs of the entry fee ($1,995), training/coaching (personal trainer $300/month, pageant coach $100/session), hair and makeup artist ($1,500), and wardrobe ($$$).

I want to show young women that life doesn’t end in your 20s. Dreams don’t end because of your age, and if anything, I see my age as a huge advantage and positive quality for a state titleholder. My life experiences have allowed me the opportunity to be able to empathize and relate to so many different types of people, which I believe is so important when choosing someone to be a role model to the people of our beautiful Sunshine State.
