Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart but a lot of hope. My mother-in-law, Kayla, recently received

devastating news: she needs total joint replacement surgery in her jaw, along with ligament

repair on one side—a complex and painful procedure estimated to cost $50,000. The damage

stems from a traumatic injury she suffered nearly 20 years ago at the hands of her first husband,

and it has slowly chipped away at the bone in her jaw ever since.

Kayla is not just a survivor—she’s a single mother of five, a fighter, and a deeply creative soul.

Despite the physical pain and emotional scars, she continues to raise her family with love,

grace, and strength.

She’s the kind of person who always stands up for those who can’t stand up for themselves,

who shows up without hesitation, and never asks for anything in return. Even now, she doesn’t

about the abuse and trauma she’s endured. She wants to earn her support, by sharing
