Hi everyone, my name is Kayla. I’m a 25-year-old single mom of two amazing kids, and I’m reaching out for a little help during a really tough time.

Back in March 2025, the car I had for five years developed a slow leak that I didn’t know about, which unfortunately caused major engine damage. I still owe around $3,000 on that car, and I’ve been without transportation ever since.

Living here in Louisiana with no family nearby, it’s been incredibly hard to get around with my kids — from getting to work, doctor’s appointments, and school, to handling emergencies. I’ve tried going to dealerships for a replacement, but they require a large down payment or a cosigner, and I simply don’t have that kind of help.

I’ve been working full-time and trying to save what I can, but between childcare costs, paying others for rides, and daily expenses, it’s been almost impossible to save enough to get back on the road.

It’s not easy for me to ask for help — honestly, it’s very humbling — but I’m doing this for my kids and to make our lives a little easier and safer. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can give. ❤️
