My best-friend Kayla will be representing Australia in Olympic weightlifting for the first time in Samoa at the end of April.

Her ultimate goal is to qualify for the commonwealth games in Glasgow.

In order to try qualify for selection, she has registered to compete in the Canadian national and Commonwealth games qualifier competition from the 15-17th of May. This competition is however completely self funded.

At this point in time, she is unsure if she will have the finances to make this dream come true. Kayla is always the first to help others but seldom asks for help, so I want to do it for her. Kayla is the most dedicated, hard working and overall amazing person I know. I don’t know anyone more deserving of this opportunity.
